We’ve worked in mapping, GIS, remote sensing and cartography for many years
- Desk-based mapping, remote sensing consultancy and GIS analysis as a service
- Working with technical specialists, we can also acquire high quality spatial data – whether from satellite, aerial, UAV, mobile or terrestrial platforms
- With over a decade of experience in the field (forests, coast, civils) and at sea, you can trust us to map pretty much anything to high specs
- With significant experience working with satellite, aerial and terrestrial datasets, we’re remote sensing generalists and subject matter experts too
- No project is too basic nor too complex

Research and development
We offer research, development and
specialist project management
- We’re multidisciplinary and we join dots between people and the problems that need tackling
- Our core specialities are remote sensing and change detection
- We further specialise in the use of LiDAR to measure forest structure, vegetation encroachment risk and coastal retreat
- Working on an agile basis, we are well placed to lead funding bids for – and to deliver – innovative projects of all sizes
- Our founders have significant experience leading major (>£1 million) projects
- Whether you’re a multinational, SME, research group or ‘one man band’, we’d love to support you

Training
With years of experience in the field, at sea and in labs, we’re well placed to train others
- The science of mapping is fascinating but can be dry and, to non-experts, a steep learning curve
- We offer bespoke training which inspires and shouts passion!
- There’s no such thing as ‘one size fits all’, and we love tweaking and tailoring our offer to suit an audience
- Our training encompasses pretty much anything related to mapping: data capture, data processing and data analysis and so on…
- We’re a member of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society and work with various Universities, so know exactly where the field is and where skills need boosting

A little about us
We are Tom and Nick, two old friends with a shared love of maps and a fascination for the use of mapping technology to help address contemporary challenges.
Dr Thomas Potter has worked in the field for 15 years and holds an MSc in GIS, a PhD in remote sensing and has worked as geospatial consultant for several years.
Nick Hunt boasts almost 20 years of leadership experience, both in the corporate world and, more recently, as an entrepreneur. He is a strategist, a coach, a People, Planet, Pint host and a trustee and NED for many businesses and organisations. He loves turning ideas into an impactful plan.
Together we offer a unique combination of scientific expertise, technical proficiency and creative vision paired with ‘big picture’ thinking and commercial realism.
